FAQs

  • Are the barbecues sold assembled?
If you buy a barbecue through a website or with delivery to your home, the barbecue will come in a box and you must assemble it at home. All barbecues include an instruction manual and assembly is usually quite simple. If you want the product assembled, you must contract the service separately if your seller can provide it.
  • Is everything included?
No, the gas cylinder must be purchased at an authorized point of sale, as well as the regulator. Some brands include the gas tube, but not all. The same goes for the case and other accessories.
  • Can I purchase a model from a brand that I don't see on your website but that you are the distributors for?
Yes, in some cases we do not import the complete catalog of the brands that we distribute but we have access to all the products so if you have seen a product that you like we can request it from the regulatory warehouses and, if available, purchase it.
  • What types of barbecues do we sell?
Gas: Barbecues that run on gas, both propane and butane, even natural gas in some models, and as a complement to enhance heat and flavor they use volcanic lava, ceramic briquettes or heat diffusers. NEVER CHARCOAL OR FIREWOOD Charcoal: Barbecues that run on charcoal. We recommend the use of 100% natural coconut fiber charcoal. NEVER WASH/BRIQUETTES OR FIREWOOD Pellets Electrical
  • Do you have original accessories for barbecues?
Yes, we have a selection of original and other generic accessories. The cover is essential if the barbecue is going to be exposed outdoors, even for storage in a garage in saline areas. ALWAYS LET THE BARBECUE COOL BEFORE PUTTING ON THE COVER European law requires the use of a heat-resistant glove while using the barbecue as it is a gas appliance. You can request the accessories you want. If they do not appear on the Web, contact us
  • Can I leave my barbecue completely outside all year round?
No. Although barbecues are a product for outdoor use, if we leave them completely outdoors they will be damaged by the sun, air or rain. It must be taken into account that the sun burns materials and colors, salt corrodes, rain oxidizes... so it is advisable that if it is going to be unused for long periods, we put a cover on it and store it at least under a space. roofed.
  • Where do you put the cylinder in the case of gas barbecues?
Although most barbecues have a space in the cart for storing the cylinder, you should ALWAYS confirm the manufacturer's instructions to know where it should be located. The customer must check that the rubber is not in contact with any hot part of the barbecue.
  • Is there a difference between lava, charcoal, briquettes and deflectors?
Yes. Gas barbecues cannot use charcoal, nor can lava charcoal and ceramic briquettes. The difference between lava and ceramic briquettes is that gas barbecues that use lava can replace it with ceramic briquettes and vice versa. Gas barbecues with burners can come standard with: Lava: it is a porous element so it absorbs all fats and juices, clogging over time. In the immediate future it will be withdrawn from the market due to ecological issues; its removal from volcanoes is being prohibited. Ceramic briquettes: they are more compact and more hygienic. They last longer since they are simply cleaned by turning them over with heat. You can replace lava with briquettes and vice versa. They will always be placed under the grills, NEVER under the plates as they will create an insulating layer. Deflectors: this is a type of plate with some holes, or a type of cap with slits that is placed over the burners, just as is the case with lava/briquettes. The materials can be diverse: aluminum, porcelain, stainless steel... it depends on the manufacturer. The advantage of this element is that it protects the burners, it can be removed to clean with soap and water, and it also enhances the flavor of the food, since by covering more surface area, more juices evaporate and the food reabsorbs them. IMPORTANT : It is NOT allowed to modify the barbecues. Any modification of the original product is illegal and voids the product warranty immediately, posing material and personal risks due to the modification of elements related to combustion. Products that have a heat diffuser will NEVER be able to use lava or vice versa since they are different approvals.
  • What warranty do barbecues have?
The warranty is what the law establishes, 2 years against manufacturing defects. The warranty will NEVER cover damage due to use or improper use of the appliance (rusted burners, deteriorated irons and grills...). Many times the customer himself can solve the problem by following the advice indicated at the end of the instruction manual and purchasing the necessary spare parts. An example that illustrates this very well is the comparison of the wheels of a car to the burners of a barbecue. It is normal that with use and time they have to be replaced. Proper use of them will ensure that they last longer. On this same page we indicate some maintenance tips.
  • Do barbecues come with an instruction and user manual?
Yes. It is VERY IMPORTANT to emphasize that the assembly, use and maintenance instructions must be read, saved and consulted. If you do so, it will be practically impossible for you to have problems with the barbecue such as leaks, flashes, blockages, etc. Correct maintenance is essential so that the barbecue remains in good condition and does not deteriorate quickly. Like any other commonly used product, over time certain parts will need to be replaced. It is something normal, as can happen with the use of a car that due to its operation the wheels wear out and have to be changed.
  • Can I purchase additional griddles or grills?
The barbecues are approved for use as they come from the factory. The composition of plates and grills may be modified, under the total and absolute responsibility of the client. In principle, it would not be problematic to use the barbecue with the entire grill surface since there is good ventilation. Quite the opposite occurs in the case of the entire iron surface. Many problems can arise because there is no ventilation and the heat build-up will be very strong. To prolong the life of the burners, it is recommended to change the position of the griddle and grills, since the burner under the griddle will always receive less impact as it is completely protected by it.
  • What tube and gas should I use?
In the case of Outback barbecues, the tube with connector is included. You just have to screw it on, buy an appropriate “head” (regulator) and a clamp and the gas bottle. The date that appears on the tubes provided by Outback is not the expiration date but the MANUFACTURING date. The rest of the manufacturers do not usually include it. Therefore, it is very important that the client chooses the appropriate tube and regulator for the gas they are going to use. NEVER USE A FREE EXHAUST REGULATOR All barbecues are approved for use with both butane and propane. Once one type of gas has been chosen, another should not be used. Outback barbecues are approved for use with butane or propane, NEVER WITH NATURAL GAS. Natural gas can only be used with BeefEater barbecues after purchasing the converter kit.
  • Can there be variations in the products?
The barbecue manufacturers reserve the right to modify the characteristics of the product without prior notice in order to improve it. The photographs on this website may vary from the actual product. The products on the manufacturers' websites may not correspond to the models sold in each country by the exclusive distributor, since not all models or all their versions are imported.
  • Can you provide us with tips for use and cleaning?
For your barbecue to last for many years and your barbecues to be perfect, it is essential to use, maintain and clean it properly. Using your barbecue is very simple and systematic and will not take you more than one barbecue to learn. First, and very important before putting your gas barbecue into operation is to perform a leak test. To do this, grease the joints where gas can escape with soapy water and open the cylinder (NOT the burners) and check if it bubbles at any point. (They have all the information in the manual). You should always start by preheating the barbecue for about 5-10 minutes. To do this, if your barbecue has a flat lid, you must first open the lid, turn on the burners and leave it at maximum heat. In case of oven lid, open the lid, turn on the burners, set to maximum and close the lid. After 10 minutes, lower the heat to minimum or medium and start cooking. Open the barbecue lid with the oven lid. All barbecues include an instruction, assembly and maintenance manual, which is essential to read before assembly and use. These instructions usually include some cooking advice for certain foods. NEVER cook on maximum heat and closed lid. Once we have finished cooking, it is advisable to leave the barbecue on for about 15 minutes, with the lid closed on the model with oven lid (NEVER put the lid flat while the barbecue is on, it will deform and burn your barbecue). During this time, the heat will burn the grease and food residue on your barbecue and partially clean it. Next, close the burners and the gas bottle and let the barbecue cool before proceeding with more thorough cleaning. It is recommended to clean plates and grills after each use just as you do at home with pots and pans. To do this, simply wash them in the sink with a sponge and warm soapy water. NEVER use abrasive products, they will damage the enamel and will not be covered by the warranty. Do the same with the deflectors/vaporizers located under the grills if your model has them. As for cleaning the rest of the barbecue, it is recommended to do a thorough cleaning at the beginning and end of the season to get it ready and store it in good condition. It is recommended to clean the burners every month. To do this you must remove them by removing the rear clip. With a steel bristle brush, brush the entire surface of the brush, and then, with a needle or rod, puncture all the holes through which the gas comes out. If there is a lot of embedded dirt, you can put the diesel oil on them overnight, wash and brush the next day and let it dry perfectly. This will help remove all the rust. For wood you can use teak oil once a season. As for steel, we have verified that the most effective is baby body oil with kitchen paper. For black metal components, there is an anti-heat paint spray that is perfect for repairing typical scratches from daily use.By following all the guidelines in your manual, you will see that your barbecue can last a long time in perfect condition.
